With the headquarters in Mönchengladbach – Germany – for development, production and sales, purchasing as well as administration and two further locations in Poland, TKM is managed by three managing directors.

The Polish sales location specifically serves the Eastern European countries. The production site in Poland is the second production plant besides the original plant in Germany since its foundation.


Many customised solutions have been developed in close cooperation with our customers. Our development process starts with the product idea and goes through a first design draft as 3D PDF, which we discuss with our customers, to the 3D component from our prototyping area. Our design takes place with a high-end tool – we design with CREO from PTC.

Through our prototyping department and with the help of our in-house workshop, prototypes with larger housings are no problem for us. Many TKM standard products have been created in this way through our own ideas, but so have customised project solutions. We then manufacture the series volume at one of our production sites.

Our production capabilities include enclosure manufacturing, enclosure assembly, and fiber optic and copper connector manufacturing.

We manufacture small and medium-sized housings in plastic injection molding and larger housings we realize in sheet steel. Our assembly department then equips the housings and patch panels with the appropriate inner workings so that they then function perfectly in data network applications.

Our fiber optic and copper connector production generally assembles connectors to cables. In the fiber optic sector, this ranges from a simple fiber optic pigtail to high-fiber cable splitters with up to 144 fibers to heavy hybrid cables for e.g. Fiber To The Antenna (FTTA) applications. Polished, optically tested (AOI – Automated Optical Inspection), measured and provided with measurement protocol, the TKM production manufactures only high quality products.

Our Make-To-Order (MTO) department manufactures all connectors in single-link structure or in multilink structure. In the case of the single-link structure, we assemble, for example, a C6A keystone module on one side of each installation cable – as a single connector or also as a 6-way trunk connector with 6 installation cables. In the case of multilink products, both the connection unit on the right and left side of a trunk cable is a cassette with several outlets. The trunk cable is a high pair copper cable, specially made for demanding network or data center environments, space saving and with very low fire load.

Thus, professional data center trunks in glass and copper connection technology are created on time. With a regular and self-controlled transport of goods between our production sites, we thus offer our customers the highest possible flexibility.

Standard products such as installation cables in reel form, keystone modules and pre-assembled splice equipment, as well as patch cords in standard lengths are available from stock in large quantities for both fiber optic and copper connection technology – availability is important to us!
